The Nursing News!

A study finds that Mamas that nurse are less likely to develop ER-negative breast cancer

Ehhhh, I'm all for nursing in public, but breastfeeding behind the wheel?  Not so much.

UCLA says that breastfeeding Mamas are more aggressive than formula-feeding Mamas or women that have never had a baby.  This is totally fascinating and the internet is crawling with articles about it: start here with the news release!

Have you ever had issues with an employer (re: pumping breaks)?  One Colorado Mom has found herself unemployed, stating that her employer terminated her contract over needing time to express milk.

Yikes: 44% of women find the sight of a breastfeeding Mom uncomfortable, per a poll on TheKnot/TheBump/TheNest.  Really?!  I'm slightly disappointed, to say the least.
